Bicycle Repair
Our premises is fully equipped to provide maintenance and repairs on bicycles. From something as simple as changing a tube to a complete refurbishment we provide the services at an affordable rate for the community.
Bicycle Sales
We have a wide range of second hand bikes available at affordable prices to suit ladies, gents and children of all ages, including hybrids, mountain bikes and racers. All of these bikes have been generously donated to Renew, then repaired and serviced here on the premises in order to be resold and recycled.
E-bike Hire
We provide Waterford’s first E-bike hire service of the Trek Verve-2 E-bikes. This allows us to provide an eco-friendly and convenient way of getting around the town. We provide both short and long term rentals, from one day up to two years.

Recycled Paint
We collect paint from the civic amenities site around Waterford and the surrounding areas that is otherwise scheduled to be sent to Germany to then be incinerated which would not only be a massive waste but would also have a negative impact on the environment.
Woodwork
We are able to create or repair a variety of wood products here in Renew. Committing to our message of sustainability we make sure to use as much upcycled timber as possible and make sure nothing goes to waste. Doing this, we are able to give new life to older furniture.
Who we are ?
Renew is a non-profit Social Enterprise operated by Treo Port Lairge CLG,
A social enterprise is a business that has a social mission; to provide those furthest away from the labour market the skills and experience needed to find employment.
Here at Renew, we undertake to provide saleable products, with the purpose of benefiting the local community at large, and creating employment.
We believe people have the right to participate fully in life from an economic, social and cultural perspective. We are committed to social inclusion and social justice.

We create full-time employment for people who are most distant from the labour market to learn, train and practice new skills and to experience working in a real time working environment and also offer accredited courses.
What we do
Renew social enterprise consists of a range of products and services available to the Waterford community. We remain mindful of the need to price our products and services in a manner that makes them affordable.
We offer many services such as e-bike rental, bicycle repairs and selling bicycles that have been refurbished here in Renew.
We also offer woodwork services and products such as our hurley boxes along with also offering affordable recycled interior and exterior paint.
We are open five a days a week (09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday)
Our ethos is to use as much recycled materials as possible.
